Apex Officer X2
Douglas County Correctional facility was looking for an innovative technology to prepare correction officers and detention deputies in a safe and cost-effective manner. Due to the increasing prison population, the demand for well-trained correction officers is extremely high. Correctional officers and inmates’ safety is threatened by the lack of resources provided for adequate training.
Apex Officer is providing correction officers, correctional facilities and law enforcement agencies with the opportunity to experience the newest technological revelation in training: virtual reality. Correction officers, correctional facilities and law enforcement agencies are taking advantage of virtual reality technology such as Apex Officer so that officers can accumulate thousands of training situations in both a safe and controlled environment.
The feedback from correctional facilities has been phenomenal. For example, Douglas County Corrections Director Michael Myers, had this to say about their new Apex Officer Corrections Training Simulator, "thank you guys for talking me out of the other machine and going with Apex Officer. This really draws you in and is dynamic!"
